The 4th periodic conference on "Tunisian tourism and the German market" will be held on 13 and 14 November 2014 in Tunis.
Experts, Tunisian and German, will lead the work of this conference where the debate will focus on the development strategy of the Tunisian tourism as envisioned 3 + 1 and meeting the expectations of German tourists.
Several personalities, Germany and Tunisia will take part in this meeting, including Amel Karboul, Minister of Tourism, who will chair the first plenary session.
Work will also take place within of workshops focused on specific topics.
The content and logistical and organizational arrangements for this conference were, Thursday, Sept. 4, 2014, at the center of a working session between the leaders of the Tunisian-German Chamber of Commerce and Industry (AHK), managers of Ministry of Tourism and the National Office of Tunisian Tourism (ONTT), the presidents of federations Tunisian hotels and travel agencies, as well as professionals from particular regions of the south.
Nabil Bziouech, chief of staff of the Ministry of Tourism, highlighted the importance of the German market for Tunisian tourism and the quality of the partnership between the operators of both countries.
This conference will be the merit of strengthening cooperation and allow to soak German operators orientations and aspirations of the Tunisian tourism through its new strategy, he has also said, expressing the Ministry's intent to surround this event the best welcome and organization.
In 2013, 425,000 German tourists have chosen Tunisia, a slight increase of 3% compared to 2012, but this "performance" is still below that of 2010, which stood at 458,600.
Forecasts for 2014 are counting on 480,000 German tourists, an evolution of 10% compared to 2013.
