Its one of the joint Arab work organizations which operate in the framework of the Council of Arab Ministers of Tourism of the Arab League, has issued Royal Decree 7765 / m and the date 10/06/1426 AH. To be based in the city of Jeddah , where the Saudi Government gives all kinds of support and facilities for the organization through the state headquarters. Where the organization to translate the resolutions of the Arab Ministerial Council for Tourism to the policies and plans for the advancement of the tourism industry in the Arab countries. And operate the Arab Tourism Organization along with the ministries and agencies of Arab tourist according to the scientific method thoughtful contributes to the development of Arab rights in the first place and to achieve the goals and aspirations and hopes of the Arab leaders in the growth of the tourism sector for being one of the most prominent actors in the gross domestic product of the Arab countries.



THE VISION:

The Arab strategy is looking forward to promote tourism of the Arab tourism sector, and to contribute to the rehabilitation of the positive highlights of the Arab economy, by taking advantage of integration in the fields of tourism hubs to work and focus on the development of inter-Arab tourism, taking into account the various possibilities and conditions of Arab States.




THE OBJECTIFS:

Strategy aims to develop tourism in the Arab countries to achieve the following:
1.The development of the tourism sector in the Arab countries by achieving the following objectives:

  • Cooperation between the Arab states in tourism promotion efforts.
  • Alliance marketing of tourism products Arabic.
  • Open new tourism markets.
  • The development of media efforts to clarify the picture realism of Arab society.
  • Increase the competitiveness of the products and services of Arab tourist and raise the level of their quality.
2.Attract more international tourism to the region.
3.Inter-Arab tourism development through the following objectives:

  • Matching supply side of tourism demand to the specifications of the Arab Tourism.
  • Stimulate the flow of tourism investments among Arab countries.
  • Encourage the establishment of tourism projects with a capital of a joint Arab.
  • Standardize classification Arab and application quality indicators consolidated.
  • Create representations of tourist exchange in the Arab countries.
  • Exchange facilities granted visas between Arab countries.
  • Arab tourists equality with citizens in accommodation rates and the transition.
  • Development of culture about the elements of tourist attractions in the Arab countries, and interest in education tourism around in an integrative framework Arabic.
  • Capacity building for workers in various areas of tourism-oriented training for Arab Tourism.
  • Attract as much out of Arab tourism and converted to the Arab countries.
  • The possibilities of cooperation in the development of the less developed Arab countries to achieve growth rates of tourist convergent between the Arab countries.


General Principles:
The Arab strategy for the development of tourism starts from a number of general principles which are fundamental pillars must be based on the efforts of all parties to the action of the Arab Tourism, through the pursuit of strategic objectives, including whether public or subsidiary. These principles are:


  1. The basic partnership between the public and private sectors to work in tourism.
  2. Taking into account the values, customs and traditions of Arab societies.
  3. Ensure the sustainable development of tourism resources.
  4. Equality between Arab tourists and citizens in the price of accommodation, transport and various tourist services.
  5. Ensure the security and safety of tourists and freedom of movement.
  6. Flexibility and innovation in the development and formulation of policies and plans.
  7. The balance between competition and integration among Arab countries, including improving the performance of the tourism sector in the whole Arab.
  8. Solidarity among Arab countries in crisis and emergency situations, as well as between the parties, the work of the Arab Tourism.
  9. Exchange of technical assistance among Arab countries.
  10. The contribution of tourism in the understanding and mutual respect between peoples and societies.
  11. Preserve and protect the natural and cultural heritage.
  12. Harmony between tourism objectives and sectoral policies in each of the other Arab countries in the joint Arab action and in particular between them and the objectives of the overall strategy of the Arab Economic.
